Oh, how true, Carlos.

I turned the game off after Griffey limped toward a line-shot to right-center, then dove and missed the ball. Dye got there a few minutes later and threw the ball to the cut-off guy at 2nd. It was painful. Boers and Bernstein were talking about why Griffey is in for this series; and how much better of a move it'd be to have Anderson out there with his defense.

If Griffey is in tonight, game's off and season's over.

I can't believe I'm laughing about a terribly important White Sox loss.

Great drawing about an unfortunate situation.

It was steak, green beans, potatoes, a hunk of bread and chianti. I was thinking about some Palehose 7 pie for desert.

Griffey's dive was bad. The next hit that fell a step in front of JD was bad. The rundown was bad. The bunt that Javy forgot to sprint after was bad. I tell ya what, Fiesty, you can't give these guys extra outs and extra bases.

It's tough to understand why Griffey starts. Ozzie is always talking about speed and defense. I wonder if it goes back to Griffey approving the trade. Maybe they promised him a bigger role and they want to keep their word. Like a man. Paws up.

Go Sox.
