Is that Buehrle? I like Uribe and I think that he gets to much crap from some of you people.

He's been a good soldier and needs to be given some credit.

The funny thing about Buehrle and Uribe is that Mark would mess with Juan all the time, in a fun way.

Keep it up Juan!

Is that a shout-out to Boers and Bernstein?! If so, nice! They're the only ones I still listen to after Pappy left (but they compete with Roe Conn, so it's only here-and-there).

Is Buerhle a Jedi??

That is B&B! I hope they talk about it! I love this strip!

You can tell that is Boers and Bernstein? That's weird. It's the backs of their heads, and I don't even know what the backs of their heads look like. I also have no evidence that Boers has Old Man Elbow, but I imagine he does.

I usually choose a random target when I'm drawing a generic bystander. I chose B&B because they were voicing their satisfaction with Juan yesterday. At the same time, I was wondering why I've stopped worrying about when Joe Crede is coming back. These are not natural thoughts.

It's not supposed to be Buehrle. It's Obi Wan.

It's better if you just call him Buehrle-wan and accept the genius tag!
True genius is when even the random or unintentional appears to have meaning. Though you think it is unintentional, it is not.
You've gotten to that point, with this strip, my friend!

If that is Boers and Bernstein, then the force truly does have a strong affect on the weak-minded. I can't stand those two guys. Also, its fine to ride Juan Uribe while he's hot, but we need Joe Crede back.

No thanks for you input Murph. Go away. I think it is funny that they make fun of you.

Hey I'm lost!

Obi does kinda of look like Buerhrle. Now that you have included B&B can you randomly place murph in a strip maybe being eaten by a baby dolphin or randomly beamed in the head by a foul ball in the backround? "you know I was a cubies original bleacher bum sitting in left field watching the girlies in their tube tops listening to Dr. demento on my transistor radio... what... ahh hey i'm lost!" old wierd moron

Uribe's distended cheek is PRECIOUS! I can't stop laughing when Hawk's TV crew shows a replay of Juan blowing a bubble while he's making a throw. And Buerhle-Wan is a definite keeper (the Hooded Lefty).

My favorite Chicago sports radio show and my favorite alternative Chicago sports commentary coming together!

Hilarious, keep up the good work, Carl.

Brilliant!
I'm just grateful we haven't seen an appearance by that annoying guy from SW Episode I, Bob-bar Jenks

I can't believe I've never seen this before. Your comic strip is amazing. And in regards to this particular one, I've also noticed that I'm starting to forget all about Crede. And that's saying something, because he's usually my favorite. Well played, Juan Uribe.

Go back and read the Palehose 6 and 7 if you want a real laugh, Pirates and Spaceships!

"Arrgh! It's driving me nuts!"

I still crack up over some of those.

The Wrigley Sheild is awesome!

Baseball Prospectus says that Buehrle has jedi tricks on the mound to keep his ERA low and himself in ball games (picking off runners, etc).

Just throwin' that out there.
