Good advice. They also shouldn't use their bats to swat at flies.
Only Swish would have a bat on his shoulder. Let's hope for a good dose of D-Wise today.
Don't Stop Believin'!!!
Hey those were balls that Swisher took, just bad umpping there. This team has too many free swingers, who swing at crap and make horrible contact. How many times have they hit the ball off the end of the bat instead of squaring it up? Wise can't take a pitch which causes him to make weak contact with the ball which creates outs. Yes, he'll get a good pitch once in a while, but .293 OBP just kills your offense. Why a pitcher would throw him a strike is beyond me. Just nibble and he will bite 75% of the time.
I was at the Dodgers/Cubs game last night, and the Dodgers are using "Don't Stop Believing." They had a montage on the jumbotron to the song & then they showed Steve Perry in the crowd, smiling & eagerly pointing to the LA logo on his Dodgers cap. As a diehard Sox fan, it felt a little strange--like they were stealing our song. Anyway...
GO SOX!!!!!
The Tigers used the song too in their 06 world series run. I felt the same way then.
Awww, the bat is soooo cute!! ;)
